September is one of the best months to visit San Sebasti\u00e1n. The city gradually returns to a quieter pace while retaining many of summer\u2019s attractions: pleasant days, plenty of daylight and a sea that is still warm. It is the perfect time to discover Donostia at a more leisurely pace and enjoy a different experience surrounded by nature.<\/p>\n

During July and August, we have been working at full capacity at Oribay<\/a><\/span>, accompanying visitors who wanted to discover the San Sebasti\u00e1n coastline from a different perspective. With the arrival of September, visitor numbers begin to fall and our trips can be enjoyed in a more relaxed atmosphere, away from the hectic pace of the busiest summer weeks.<\/p>\n

A different way to enjoy San Sebasti\u00e1n<\/h3>\n

If you are looking for special things to do in San Sebasti\u00e1n in September, a fishing trip allows you to combine the sea, spectacular scenery and nature in a single experience. Sailing along the Donostia coastline offers a privileged view of the city and its surroundings while you learn different fishing techniques and discover the natural richness of the Cantabrian Sea.<\/p>\n

September is also an interesting month because of the changes taking place in the sea. As summer draws to a close, some species alter their movements and feeding habits. Their activity can vary depending on water temperature, currents and weather conditions, making every trip different. In some years, September also coincides with the final part of the albacore tuna season, one of the most representative species of the Basque coast.<\/p>\n

The weather generally remains mild, although it can be slightly more changeable than in midsummer. This does not necessarily have to be a disadvantage: temperatures are usually more comfortable for spending several hours at sea and, before every trip, we check the conditions to choose the most suitable time and area.<\/p>\n
